    Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary School
    welcomes 4-year-olds to our community of learners!

    • To register for the 23-24 school year, please read the information below and complete the registration form.

    Class Options
    • Full & Half Day Options
      • Both full and half day students are able to partake in wrap around daycare Monday-Friday year-round.
      • Daycare is open 6:45AM- 6:00PM daily.
      • All daycare needs can be covered before and after both 4K options
      • Class sections will be finalized based on enrollment and may need to be adjusted.

      Class Sizes
      • 20 students per class section with a teacher and educational assistant.

      Class Times
      • Full Day: 7:40AM-2:40PM (early release first Thursday of each month at 1:20).
      • Half Day: 7:40AM-10:40AM.

      Calendar
      • Will follow the Sacred Hearts School calendar with the exception of start date. The first day of 4K will be slightly after the K-8 students.

      Lunch
      • Full day students will be able to purchase hot lunch daily.

    Curriculum
    • Our Curriculum
      • Sacred Hearts Catholic 4K program will be play-based with the intent of preparing students for kindergarten. The focus of 4K will be to help develop the whole child: spiritually, academically, socially, physically, and emotionally. 
      • Students will participate in specials classes such as music, art, physical education, and go to the library. 
      • They will have recess, rest time (full day students), and free play.

      Catholic Identity
      • Students will be learning the Catholic faith through the curriculum which will include prayer, religion standards and liturgical activities and events with K-8 students that highlight our faith.

      • Bussing will be available for students that live in a bussing zone in Sun Prairie.

    Tuition

      • Tuition will be assessed at the same rate as K-8.
      • 23-24 tuition rates are $3,127 for a half day and $6,254 for a full day. 
      • Current tuition (22/23) for K-8 is $4,900 in parish/$5,900 out of parish.
      • Daycare rates are additional.


    Day Care
    • Sacred Hearts Day Care Offers

      1. Quality care while your child is not in school.
      2. Partnership with Sacred Hearts School.
      3. Before and after school wrap care along with no school day care.
      4. 3yr and 4K wrap around care.
      5. Summer program for ages 4-12-child must be entering 4K in Fall.
      6. Home-like setting and family environment.
      7. Spacious outdoor play area.
      8. Low ratio of children to staff.

    Admissions
    • 4K Admission
      Students must be 4-years-old on or before September 1, 2023 to be eligible. Late birthdays will not be considered. 

      A $100 non-refundable registration fee is required for ALL students upon submitting their registration form. 

      Students will be admitted on a first-come, first-serve basis, space permitting, with preference given to the following order:

      1. Families with at least one child currently attending Sacred Hearts School K-8. 
      2. Families with a 3K or 4K student who currently attend Sacred Hearts School AND intend to send children to Sacred Hearts School for K-8. A $200.00 non-refundable deposit must be made at the time of enrollment. This will be applied towards your kindergarten tuition.
      3. Catholic families who are registered members of Sacred Hearts or St. Albert parishes AND intend to send children to Sacred Hearts School K-8. A $200.00 non-refundable deposit must be made at the time of enrollment. This will be applied towards your kindergarten tuition.
      4. Registered members of other Catholic parishes AND intend to send children to Sacred Hearts School K-8.  A $200.00 non-refundable deposit must be made at the time of enrollment. This will be applied towards your kindergarten tuition.
      5. Non-Catholic families who intend to send children to Sacred Hearts School K-8. A $200.00 non-refundable deposit must be made at the time of enrollment. This will be applied towards your kindergarten tuition.
      6. Families who are unsure if they wish to go on to Sacred Hearts K-8 may be added to a waitlist.

      Space permitting, these spots will be allocated beginning May 1, 2023.
    Registration
    • A $100 non-refundable registration fee is required for ALL students upon submitting their registration form. 

      If you do not have a current K-8 student, families are required to submit a non-refundable $200 desposit towards kindergaten tuition in addition to the $100 registration fee. 

      Fees can be paid with a check payable to Sacred Hearts School or via FACTS for current families.

      Enrollment will be determined based on the Admissions criteria (see the Admissions tab on the left).
