I have been fortunate to be part of the Sacred Hearts teaching staff since 2004. I was a preschool aide for 6 years before becoming a 4K teacher. I graduated from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, with additional coursework in business education. Although I am originally from Illinois, I spent over 15 years in Arizona and Colorado as a restaurant manager. A career change led me to becoming a preschool aide and then a preschool teacher. In order to follow my dream to become a teacher in Wisconsin, I completed my teaching certification requirements at Cardinal Stritch University.
I have one adult son who attended Sacred Hearts and is also an ASU alumni. I enjoy swimming, hiking, yoga, and crossword puzzles in my free time. I also look forward to spending time with family.
Working in education has been part of my life since my high school years. I am thankful for the opportunities I have had to work in a Migrant school, substitute in middle schools and high schools, and tutor second graders. I am truly honored to be part of the Sacred Hearts faculty and it is a blessing to continue to work with the students and families in our community.
