I began working at Sacred Hearts School in 1996. I started at the daycare before moving over to the school to teach 5th grade. After 8 years in fifth grade, I moved down to teach 1st grade. I continued to teach 1st grade for 10 years before moving to 2nd grade.
I grew up in Sun Prairie. I attended and graduated from Sacred Hearts School. I received my bachelor's degree from UW-Whitewater.
I am married and have 3 adult children, who also graduated from Sacred Hearts School. I have 3 rescue dogs; Louie, Tru and Myla, who keep me very busy. When I am not walking or playing with them, I enjoy working in my yard, biking and scrapbooking.
I feel very blessed to be working in a wonderful school where I have the opportunity to share my faith with my students. Second grade is such an important year in our students' faith journey and I am so grateful to be able to share this time with them.
