I have been a teacher at Sacred Hearts for the last 12 years... 5 years in Pre-3 and 7 years in 4K. Before teaching here, I spent 10 years teaching 5th/6th grade at St. Joe’s School in Waterloo (4 of those years I was also the principal) and 5 years teaching 3K. I received my Bachelor's Degree in teaching from Marquette University and Master's Degree in Administration from Edgewood College.
I live in Madison with my husband, Pete, and daughters, Sophie (20) and Anna (15). As a family we enjoy taking our dog, Chester, to area dog parks, camping, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers (okay, the girls not so much). In my free time, I enjoy reading, running, playing the piano, and playing the clarinet in the Edgewood Campus/Community Band.
Over the years, I have found the community of Sacred Hearts to be very welcoming and supportive. I look forward to the upcoming school year, especially seeing the students' curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
