I am excited to be teaching Middle School religion after being a substitute teacher at Sacred Hearts last year! I graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Madison with a degree in Early Childhood- Middle Childhood Education. I went on to teach kindergarten for two years at St. Maria Goretti in Madison before staying home with my children. I feel blessed to restart my teaching career at Sacred Hearts.
I grew up and attended high school in Greendale, Wisconsin. My husband Jeff and I met at St. Paul’s while attending UW-Madison. During our time there, we were peer ministers and spent time training as small group leaders. We fell in love with the Madison area and never left. Our family moved to Sun Prairie and became parishioners at Sacred Hearts in 2013. Our three children, Anna, Lucy and Jack, have loved being a part of Sacred Hearts School. I enjoy watching their sports and activities, being a fan of Wisconsin sports, and working on house projects.
I am grateful to be able to combine my passion for faith and teaching. I feel honored to be a part of the middle schoolers’ journey and look forward to growing in faith with them!
